What will membership, appointments, medication and tests each cost through PlushCare?

PlushCare's weight-loss page describes physician-led online care with insurance accepted but not required. Its pricing has more than one layer: membership, medical visits and any separately purchased medication or laboratory work. Looking only at the monthly membership leaves much of the potential expense outside the comparison.

A membership and an appointment are different purchases

The checked monthly membership is $19.99 after a 30-day trial. The how-it-works page also lists an annual membership of $149 billed annually. An uninsured initial visit is advertised at $129. Insured visit charges depend on the actual plan; an advertised typical copay is not an individual estimate.

Medication and laboratory costs are excluded. Ask which visits the clinician expects and obtain the price for subsequent appointments rather than assuming the initial visit amount applies indefinitely. If insurance will be used, confirm both the clinician's network status and the separate medication benefit.

Prescribing and coverage remain conditional

The service describes assessments, laboratory evaluation when needed and help with prior authorization. None of those features guarantees a prescription or insurer approval. A clinician may recommend a different approach after reviewing the history. Coverage assistance should be evaluated as a process, not counted as a successful coverage decision before one exists.

For a fuller budget, use our three-month cost guide. Write the membership next to expected appointments, then leave unquoted medication and testing amounts visibly unresolved. This is more informative than comparing $19.99 directly with a bundled medicine program.

Keep appointment rules beside subscription rules

PlushCare publishes separate rules for cancelling membership and changing appointments. Its how-it-works page describes a late-change or no-show fee for appointments inside the stated window. Review the current scheduling policy when booking, particularly if your availability may change.

This profile is based on public terms observed October 5, 2026. We have not booked an appointment, measured support speed or verified a particular clinician's performance. The service adds an appointment-based medical-care route to our ten-provider comparison; it is not assigned an independent medical quality score.
